Canada is a lovely place combining the sophistication of modern living yet providing that Yachting adventure with just enough excitement to tingle the interests of those wanting something different but also within reach of normal life.

There are three well-known sailing areas of Canada,

British Columbia

On the west coast there is some lovely sailing starting at Vancouver Island and most yachts are based in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. We offer charters from Vancouver Island where there are many sheltered anchorage’s and sufficient marinas and harbours to ensure good provisioning and restaurants available. If you are looking for something unusual then tri the weekly two day passenger freighter trip to the Kyuquot Sound a 308 hectare marine park.

The Great Lakes

In the middle of Canada there are the great lakes which are shared with the USA and over the years this has produced some wonderful yachts particularly in the 8 meter class. Today most Charters start from one of the larger towns in the lake like Toronto on Lake Ontario. We have a number of Charter companies with ideal sized Yachts depending on which area you wish to visit.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia on the East Coast where in every odd dated year there is a race from Marblehead to Halifax run by the Boston Yacht Club and the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Club. The race starts on the first Sunday after the 4th of July. With a racing crew and the incentive to do well it will take about three days. Many use this as a way of getting there.
