Welcome USA East CoastThe most northern part of the East Coast is often considered as starting at Nova Scotia and quite a few sail from Boston for the Marblehead to Halifax Race and then stay on and cruise the islands. This area is not for the inexperienced as fog can be a real hazard rolling in at any time. However, if we come south down the coast we will find in New York and Long Island which has some lovely sailing as well as the Big Apple. The Long Island Sound has a number of marinas and some good spots to anchor up. The best sailing is April May and September October but we have often enjoyed some good sailing in June July and August. Still further down the coast there is Chesapeake Bay which is a large inland waterway of over 200 miles. The bay itself is a wonderful mixture of towns, bays, marinas all having really good facilities. You can visit Washington and Baltimore by Yacht if you wish but we think there are other great spots away from the crowds. Still further down the coast there is Florida and the Bahamas. We are able to offer yachts all the way down the coast for Bare Boat or Skippered Charter plus many Super and Mega Yachts.
