Bare Boat Charter
We have over 2500 bareboat charters available around the world and this is the type of Charter is where the skipper and crew take responsibility for the Yacht that they charter.
The whole affair can be a lovely holiday but you should be able to sail the yacht (Power or Sail) that you charter.
We are happy to talk your experience through with you if in any doubt. Our suppliers will need a Certificate of Competence or some good sailing experience backed up by a practical demonstration before you can take the Yacht to sea own your own.
Also the Skipper should be careful to note the responsibilities that he or she undertakes under the international code where they are chartering from.
