Welcome to Tall Ships

Tall ships are the finest way to explore the Caribbean Islands the year round or the Mediterranean and Northern Europe in season. Prerequisites are just the desire to have the experience of sailing as it was in yesteryear only with all today’s facilities. How much you take part is as you wish. You can just go and enjoy the sailing and be waited on.

Caribbean

There is no better way to explore the Caribbean than under sail and tall ships with their shallow drafts can anchor close to deserted beaches and dock in the smaller harbours. Also in the Caribbean Tall Ships there are Junior and Teen program opportunities between June and September so the Parents can have some personal space. The Ships visit the Bahamas, US and British Virgin Islands, West Indies, Belize and the Bay Islands.

Mediterranean and Northern Europe

The Mediterranean and Northern Europe Tall Ships offer a magnificent way to see some of the World Famous Ports, sit along side in Cannes for instance, and many of the unknown beaches. You can go aboard for a day, a trip between ports or a round trip back to where you started.

Singles – Couples – Weddings and Honeymoons - Groups – Corporate Charter – Filming and Special Effects. Cruises are usually for 6/7 or 13/14 day’s duration and there are some single day trips usually out of season as tasters.

Theme Cruises

Art Painting a week of informal lectures and set up your easel on deck when ever you wish. The light for painting is marvellous most of the time.
SPA Cruise - Yoga, Stretching and the Seas own beauty treatments of fresh air, seawater and warm sunshine. Combine these with a Massage, Manicure Pedicure and a Facial with masks made from mango, papaya, passion fruit, bananas, pineapple and guava. You will come home feeling marvellous.
Photography Cruise – A week of Photography classes and the opportunity to dive and snorkel to get it all on your own film.

Tall Ship Specifications

Most Ships take up to sixty or so Guests in a variety of Cabins from Admiral Suites to Standard Cabins. The crew compliment is about 25 to 30 giving a ratio of about two customers per crewmember. This ensures a personal service of the highest standards. All ships are equipped with the latest facilities and comply with the safety regulations for all countries that they operate in or around.
The size of the Ships range between 200 to 250 feet in length and have two or three masts. No you do not have to crew if you don’t wish to but some people like to have a go and the crews are always happy to show you the ropes, sail setting and all the other things that have to be done to sail a Tall Ship.
There is much more we can tell you about the Ships but this is the most romantic way to go sailing ever.
